Network connectivity

How do we connect our five observatories back to the computing HQ in Oxford?

Thanks to Remote Ethernet Device boxes (known as RED boxes) from Sophos, the IP-compliant devices in our observatories (PCs, security cameras) act as though they are connected to the Oxford Physics department via very long ethernet cables (1000s of km long).

We have the same network setup in each of the five observatories, as shown in our topology diagram below.
