The Global Jet Watch observatory in India

The northern hemisphere!

GJW-IN is our only observatory in the northern hemisphere - just!  It is at +12 degrees above the equator.    This observatory has an RCOS telescope housed in an Astrodome.  This was the first of the observatories to have remote operation commissioned.  Its spectrograph was installed shortly before Christmas 2013.   We are very grateful to the Raman Research Institute for the help and hospitality they showed us during the set up of this observatory.
